Volunteer Night is for current Cycles for Change volunteers only. If you would like to become a volunteer, we ask that you attend our Saturday morning New Volunteer Orientation which takes place regularily on Saturday mornings. On Monday evenings throughout the year Cycles for Change invites our inestimable volunteers to join us in making C4C the amazing organization that it is. Cycles for Change is your organization for you and by you. There are a dedicated team of staff working to keep the programs running and Sibley open, but it is the volunteers that really make Sibley what it is. We are a community bicycle shop situated in the historical Rondo neighborhood/ Frogtown. It is our users and volunteers which create this sense of community.

Volunteer night serves as a great opportunity for all involved, especially those who wish to gain greater knowledge and skill as the dedicated staff of Cycles for Change is better able to devote their attention to teaching in a nurturing environment without the added distraction of trying to assist people attempting to fix their own bicycle as happens during open shop.

We offer a new volunteer orientation periodically on Saturday mornings to give those interested in volunteering an understanding of what Cycles for Change is, where it has come from, and to inform people the ways they can get involved. At this time we attempt also to build a basis of knowledge so that people can begin to work on bicycles. Whether you are interested in working on bicycles or using your unique gifts in another way the orientation provides a starting point from which to get involved in the organization.
