Check out Sibley at the Living Green Expo!
***Visit Sibley at the Living Green Expo this Weekend!
Sibley Bike Depot will be at this weekend's Living Green Expo to publicize our great community bike programs. The event is held each year at the State Fairgrounds. If you're there, stop by our booth and say hello! We also need volunteers to greet visitors and talk about all our different community bike programs. Email Jason@sibleybikedepot.org if you can help staff the booth for a couple hours this weekend.
***Shop Closed Sunday May 2, Sunday May 16
Sibley Bike Depot will be CLOSED on Sunday, May 2 for the May Day Parade! Meet at the shop at noon for a group ride over to Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis to watch the parade and enjoy the afternoon's festivities. The shop will also be closed Sunday, May 16 for a Sibley Board/staff training.
***Thanks to the Hub Bike Co-op for Support
The Hub Bike Co-op is generously supporting Sibley's Community Partners Bike Library with a $500 donation of parts and service! Bike Library participants in Minneapolis will be able to visit the Hub with any mechanic problems on their Bike Library bike and get free repairs. The Board, volunteers and staff at Sibley Bike Depot appreciate the support and the commitment the Hub shows to building this Twin Cities bicycling community. Sibley deeply appreciates the other generous contributions we have received to help make the Bike Library a success.

***Youth Classes Finishing Up
Sibley Bike Depot is finishing up another session of our youth Build-a-Bike class through St. Paul Connections, an after-school program of the St. Paul Public Schools. Approximately 20 high school youth are earning high school credit and building a bike to keep at the end of the program! Sibley always needs volunteers who enjoy working with youth to help teach classes and work with youth in a bike shop environment. Contact Kevin at Kevin@sibleybikedepot.org if you want to help with our youth programs!
