In January, Sibley Bike Depot received the official "go-ahead" from MnDOT to begin work implementing the Community Partners Bike Library! The Community Partners Bike Library will make available 220 bikes. fully equipped for transportation purposes, for 6-month loan to low-income Twin Cities residents with demonstrated transportation needs. The Bike Library will additionally provide under-served community members with classes in safe cycling, bike maintenance, and commuting, as well as support in acquiring a bicycle for long-term use at the termination of the loan program.

Sibley is having an end-of-the-winter sale, and we're discounting all bikes 10-25% through the end of the month! Now's a great time to find a bike for the Spring from our selection of over 70 fixed up bikes. Most bikes are regularly priced between $100-$350. Help a small non-profit raise a bit of extra revenue to get through the long Minnesota winter by buying a bike! This discount is not valid with an other promotions or discounts (including Earn-a-Bike). Come check out bikes during our Open Shop hours - Wednesday 4-8 and Saturday 12-5.
***Give Input on the Community Partners Bike Library
Sibley's newest and largest program, the Community Partners Bike Library needs your input! We're looking for great Community Partners organizations to work with and lend bikes to. We're looking for organizations that meet our Organization Criteria listed at http://www.sibleybikedepot.org/community-partners-bike-library-0. Take a look at the criteria, and let us know of some great organizations we can work with! Email Jason@sibleybikedepot.org with ideas or questions.

Sibley Bike Depot continues to offer a variety of bike repair classes. Our next Basic Bike Maintenance class starts this Sunday - register today for one of the last two spots! Sibley is happy to offer a March Basic Bike Maintenance class as well - Sunday afternoons, March 21-April 11. In addition, Sibley is offering our first Complete Overhaul class of the year, Thursday evenings March 18-April 8. Register for all classes online at www.excotc.org!
